Deeee-licious!!! I ate here with my sister and her family and my family and my 6 years old nephew wanted orange chicken (at a Thai restaurant)!!! I was skeptical about it but it was so good! It came spicy and we told them we can't do spicy and they replaced it with a non-spicy kind...so nice of them! And you can never order the wrong thing! But I highly recommend the crab fried rice and pineapple curry! Also I just found out that one of my good friends also had eaten at this place and they love this place too! They even had planned small party - 15 people party and is planning a bigger party there - 30+ people party! They are just so accommodating!

Prices are really good and the portion size is pretty large. The pumpkin curry was very delicious and worth trying. It wasn't as spicy as I thought it should be but it had a good amount of meat and veggies. There are a lot of variety on the menu. I'll definitely have to come back!

Location is a little hard to find since you don't see it along the big street. Plenty of parking spaces though! Stopped by for lunch with my BF who came down to see me during my lunch break. The place was almost full when we came in! What we got: Free Pork Wonton Soup w/ Lunch Combo: it came with a wonton and a couple slices of char siu. It was garlic-y! Free Thai Tea w/ Check In: BF and I both checked in and so we each got one! Creamy and not too sweet. Beef Red Curry Lunch Special ($8): comes with rice and salad. They give you a lot of the curry! Beef was a little overcooked, but all the other vegetables in it was good. It was creamy and not too spicy either so it could have used a little more heat. Salad was nice and crisp, love the salad dressing on it. Beef Pad Thai Lunch Special ($8): good portion too! It could have used some lime though and they will bring it out to you if you ask them. Noodles were soft and chewy, but beef was also overcooked. Service: Even though they were busy, they were quick with everything. Thai tea was brought out quickly. Food was brought out quickly. So I was able to get back to work in an hour!

4 stars?! Must be a great thai place. Well, you'd think so. I've had my share of great Thai food and this place definitely is not one of them I've tried 3 things here at 3 different times, hoping that I would find something flavorful, authentic, and delicious. 1st time - Spring rolls = poorly wrapped, way too big to put in mouth, and the sauce was bland in flavor and spice. 2nd time - Pad see ew - definitely not authentic. The noodles didn't have any color from the sauce and the flavor was very mediocre. 3rd time - Pad Thai with beef (lunch size) - (this is review is more detailed because I just ate it) came with 1 cup of noodles a wilted salad and white rice??? I understand Asians eat rice with everything. I get it, I'm Asian. But who serves rice with Pad Thai Noodles? They just needed something to fill up the lunch portion to make it worth the $9.59 that they charged. Beef was $1.00 more than chicken and I received 1 whole piece of dry beef and tiny pieces of beef that may have equaled up to 1 good size piece of beef. The Pad Thai could have used a little more Palm Sugar, tamarind paste and some fish sauce. I asked for really spicy and it didn't even have a hint of spice. All in all, after giving this place 3 chances based on their great reviews, a sad review was due. Lack in flavor, authenticity, quality and not a good value for the price.

It is hard to find a good thai restaurant in the area. As a thai person, I am extra picky for thai restaurant , it's not easy to find some pace that taste like home. Until I found this place. I've been craving for papaya salad and good thai noodle dish for a long time and this place has it to off and it tasted just like my mom's makes it! Price is definitely cheap and the portion is great definitely enough to take home with you. It's a family owned restaurant, the staff are really friendly and the service is great. The boat noodle and Tom yum noodle , also papaya salad , pad krapow wit egg , pineapple duck curry are to die for . This place is my new thai favorite restaurant. One little comment would be during the day time it can get hot in there during the hot summer days

I love this place it's great and fast. The service is amazing and the food is great too. I recommend the pad see eww.

Wow! Just ordered, delivered to our hotel room ( up for a soccer tournament), read the Yelp reviews.....fabulous! Menu was not large, but perfect, ordered pad see ew, angel wings and pangang curry with pork. Food was delicious, only missing rice for curry- my bad? Love the delivery service, so can't comment on their location, gentleman was courtesy and quick. Enjoy!

Where to begin. Me and my girlfriend have been coming here recently because I like their curry selection and she likes their pad se ew. Today we decided to try something different. What a mistake. My girlfriend ordered fried rice and I ordered sizzling beef, the only ingredients listed for which were sesame seeds and onions. We specifically ordered this item because it sounded like it was the only sauce free meat plate. Except it was super saucy. Drenched. And it was not tasty at all (my girlfriend agrees). When we tried to trade it out because the menu had misrepresented the dish, we were told we couldn't. What kind of customer service is that? Oh and there was a hair at the bottom of the rice plate. Save yourself the hassle and go to another Thai place. This place is cheap for a reason.

It was my first time here and I ordered the chicken red curry. It was very delicious and I loved the bamboo shoots in the dish. I had my food to go and appreciated that they put it in the proper to go containers. I have gone to other thai restaurants and would ask for my curry dish to go and they would put in a to go box that was not suitable for soupy dishes. There is also a free thai iced tea if you check in. I definitely took advantage of that and checked in to get the free iced tea. I will certainly come back and try their other dishes.

Super kind waitress, Jane, and very nice inside. But the food is pretty #Gringo. One of my besties is laid up at the Mission Hospital, down the road. I wanted to bring him some non-hospital food, and Pad Thai was his request. He's a big foodie and claimed it wasn't that good. I thought it was okay. The menu looked delightful, though, so I might try other things here...Pad Thai isn't super exciting to begin with, you know. Prices are four-star, however!

I've been here numerous times and it's about time that I put up some praise about one of my favorite Thai Rest. The services are always great - friendly, smiling and prompt. For today's lunch, I paid $7.50 including tax for Pad see ew with a good size salad today. (I didn't want rice. ) I also received a Thai tea free for checking in on Yelp. You know it's authentic when the waitress brings you the little tray of 4 different hot condiments. Keep up the great work! P.S. they are now closed on Sundays starting 1/1/2015. Good for you!!

Not a bad Thai place, but if you read my reviews I am perhaps hardest on Thai places, and I shall make no exception for this one. First the good: Its close to the house / office. Its better than the Sushi / Noodle bar that occupied the space. It has a vast menu. The Bad: The price The size of the meal was small for what I am paying. Not authentic enough. Now to be fair I have only eaten here twice. Once with the wife and once with a work friend at lunch. Now when I hit a new Thai place I always judge them by one dish in the US: Thai basil beef or pad kra pow beef. I know, I know but it's an easy dish that should be easy to make and it should have common ingredients. But I find it a good test. Maybe I should do their curries or larb but not all Thai places are equal but I have found that all Thai places have this dish. And Bhan Baitong has it. I found it to include much more vegetables than beef which is not to uncommon but when I order a lunch size meal I expect more than 5 or 6 parts of beef. They did provide enough sauce / juice that I could absorb / mix my rice with but the very large portions of vegetables ( Onions, Peppers, etc ) turned it into more of a veggie dish once I consumed the protein. I will have to come back and try out some more dishes, and update my review accordingly. South OC is lacking in GOOD Thai restaurants so I fuly support their effort and wish them the best of luck!

Happened upon this place on yelp cuz I was feeling sick on Memorial Day and found my usual Thai place closed for the holiday. This is my new favorite Thai restaurant! Ordered food for the whole family on the gloomy day and everyone loved it. The best items were the red curry (spice level 7) and the Tom kah with tofu and shrimp same spice level. Also within the range for free delivery so I was so happy I didn't have to drive when I wasn't feeling well. Best Thai I've had. Thanks yelp!

  • Dorothy T.

VEGAN/VEGETARIAN REVIEW: Nothing special - unlike some other Thai places that I've been to, there aren't really any tofu-centric dishes. You can sub in tofu for your protein though. I had the pad thai lunch special, which comes with rice and a salad. The only notable flavor in the pad thai was its oiliness, and there wasn't much else in the dish other than tofu (or your protein) and peanuts. I opted for no egg but I thought it would come with some more veggies like bean sprouts or a lime or green onion? Portions are also small for what you pay for.

I've been to Thai restaurants everywhere across orange County, including Huntington Beach and San Diego, and this by far is the BEST I've had. I'll tell you why. One of the primary problems I face at Thai restaurants is the overabundance of sauce that minimizes the authenticity of the Thai flavor. At this place, each bite of pad Thai or yellow curry is balanced with quality and flavor. The ambiance isn't on par with that of Thai bite in Aliso Viejo, or silk Thai (the number one rated Thai by OC register), but would you sacrifice quality just to eat at a nice looking place? I wouldn't. Go here and be mind blown, Thai lovers.

  • Yona Y.

Service is great. The staff was friendly, and very attentive. I ordered ginger chicken lunch combo, I like the strong ginger flavor but the sauce was extremely salty soy saucy. Also ordered shrimp pad see ew lunch platter, that was very very very salty as well. Noodle was overcooked and got all mush. Portion of meat was not enough but for the lunch special price, I guess I just got what I paid for. All dishes were extremely salty and sweet. Especially the free thai ice tea was a sugar bomb to the point where my throat felt instantly dry from too much sugar. Complimentary wonton soup was a nasty salt soup. The place was clean, new and again, I loved the service but the food tasted too much salty soy sauce for everything.

Favorite Thai place in Irvine/lake forest area good prices and food. Also have price on 2nd beer

  • Alvin L.

Probably one of the best Thai places in the OC that is a sit-down restaurant. I got the Kee Mao with tofu on medium spicy, and it was delicious and just a nice blast of fried basil to your taste buds. The mango sticky rice was nice and hot, and you get a free thai tea with your check in. Everything is very palatable, and perfect for those who seek a bit of heat in their food, but not ready for that Thai-level of spice. (our medium is their mild kinda thing) The service was very good when I was there, and they double check your orders as they come out

Excellent meal! Food was well prepared and full of taste. We asked to make it very spicy and it was! Accommodated our vegetarian preference by substituting meat with tofu. Will come back!

I was a little hesitant to write this review,,since I read so many good reviews on here,, But I think people should really know.. We ordered fr here last week, was really looking forward to having a great dinner,, Our food smells great, but what a huge disappointments it was,, the soup was so plain, the papayas salad was horrible,, and our beef basil was just bad I didn't even take a second bit.. The only reason I gave it 2stars is for the waitress was nice.., Obviously it was not for the food..

Great food and I had the entire dinning room to myself for a little bit... Large TV behind the counter entertainment while I put in work on some just right pineapple fried rice... If in the area give this place a try...

I've been here twice and both times I called in my order and picked it up. They are very fast and efficient. I loved that I got a free thai iced tea for checking in. I have a gluten allergy and they will make the dishes without soy sauce upon request which is awesome. I've had the Thai BBQ and the Cashew Nut. Both dishes the chicken was very moist and delicious. I'm looking forward to dining in here one day because they look like they have beautiful presentation.

  • Jackie L.

I've only dined in once because I usually get delivery from here (when I'm too lazy to cook) so my review will be about the delivery. The food is consistent ( which for me is a big deal) I can't say that it is the best Thai food in the area but it hits the spot, is fast and I know what to expect. X---- Half the battle. I usually order the duck curry, pad see ew or pad kee mao. Always well packaged when delivered and usually within 30-45 minutes. Prices are also very reasonable.

  • Eddie C.

I like their chicken Thai Basil with Fried Egg, a common Thai dish. It has nice flavor, and the portion size is good, with a nice rice to meat/veg ratio. I prefer this place over Thai Cafe, they give you a better portion of rice and less "filler" veggies (my preference). The fried egg was good, served with a runny yolk. The "spicy" spicy level kinda spicy. It's not a sharp kick spicy but a warm rising heat from the chili flakes, though I like it better that way. "Medium" spicy is a bit lacking in spice for me, though. I added an extra star because this place surpassed my expectations based on its random location.

  • Rachel B.

Amazing Thai basil rice (with a fried egg on top). The pad see eew and yellow curry are very flavorful. My grandmother ordered sweet and sour stir fried veggies. I'm not a sweet and sour fan so didn't try it, but she ate the entire portion on her own so I'm assuming it was tasty. During your visit if you check in on Yelp you will get a FREE Thsi iced tea (boba is extra). One FREE Thsi iced tea per check in on a mobile device.

Had a craving for Tom yum soup but our usual spot was closed. Turned out to be a blessing in disguise because we were forced to find another thai place and ended up discovering this gem tucked in a corner shopping center 5 mins from our home. Never even knew it was there! Anyway, completely trumps the other place, the food was very flavorful with good portions and provide plentiful proteins in their dishes. The dining area has a very neat decor and appears very clean. On top of that, the service is quick and friendly, our server had a smile the whole time and readily answered any questions we had. I think this is going to be our new "usual spot". :)

Love Bhan Baiton Thai Cuisine! Small, clean, nicely decorated, bar, great staff AND the food is amazing. I particularly like the Spicy Pasta with Shrimp. I order about a 5 on their scale of 1 to 10 for "spicy". And they can accommodate one of our groups, which can be around 20 - 25 people. Prices are good! Give it a try. Wish they were still open on Sundays. Come on Bhan Baitong, we miss our opportunity for Sundays... ;)

Was majorly craving Pineapple Fried Rice and I happened to be in the area so I Yelped and found Bhan Baitong. I ordered for pick-up and it was ready 10 minutes later. The inside of the restaurant is very nice and quiet...simple décor but a lot of tables (especially for an unsuspecting little Thai spot). It's in a more business neighborhood of Lake Forest, so for a Sunday, they had plenty of people dining there. I only ordered the rice and it was somewhere around $10.00 with your choice of meat...I went with shrimp so that's a pretty good deal. When she handed me the bag, it seriously had to have weighed like 7lbs. I didn't love the dish...the rice was more basmati than the pineapple fried rice I'm accustomed to, and it was spiced a little differently. There was plenty of cashews, raisins and pineapple...and they didn't jip you on the shrimp at all, but they were overcooked and quite dry/rubbery...I even found a few tails in there without the shrimp part attached. It filled my craving well enough, and I would definitely return here, but I don't think I'd order the pineapple rice again. I've been spoiled with it from my spot (which is all the way in Huntington) and I am almost always disappointed when anyone else makes it. Still, I think this place is worth coming back to.

Our fave local Thai place. Food is tasty and priced well. Also, the staff is super friendly every time. Don't forget to check in for a free Thai Iced Tea. Their food isn't overly sweet like many Thai restaurants. Highly recommend Bhan Baitong!

Pretty sweet place I recently discovered near the place I work. The food is not bad at all, basically anything on the recommended chart I have tried and enjoyed. Another nice thing is that they do a speedy job making the food. An order of 3 dishes generally takes around only 15 minutes or less, which to me is pretty decent. Of course, they offer delivery service and online ordering for pick up as well, a great feature for anyone looking to solve their lunch problem during work! However, I would recommend to dine in the restaurant if possible since the in-store environment is really nice. The only complain that I have is that the pricing could be a little more friendly albeit it is still on a reasonable level. Overall a great place to eat, definitely would recommend!

I love Thai food, and I've tried a lot of different places. I would have to say that this is my favorite casual Thai stop in south county. They have very reasonable prices. The atmosphere is nothing special but if you just want a solid Thai meal this is the place for you. I usually order the red curry as spicy as you can get it, and it could be a little bit spicier but my digestive system is not complaining. Their lunch special is an amazing deal; soup, salad, an entree of your choice and rice for 7-8 bucks. Don't forget to check in for your free Thai iced tea!!!

I have been here only about three times to meet up with friends during lunch hours. It is located in a business oriented area of lake forest and is pretty well centrally located in terms of radius to all the big corporations around the area. The value does not match to some restauraunts i have eaten lunch at in Huntington Beach, fountain valley, etc. But for the irvine / lake forest area this place is a great value. The pad Thai lunch special cost me a little over six dollars. The salad and rice portions are nothing to brag about, but the entree itself has been spectacular each time I've had it. Very yummy in my asian tummy. My friends seemed to enjoy the other lunch entrees as well. In terms of service, last time I came it was literally just one lady serving a busy lunch hour. I have been to other asian based restauraunts where the single server lady just goes bat shiat crazy over the stress, which in a way is understandable. But the lady here still maintained her composure and took our requests in a well mannered attitude even though every single table was pretty much filled. The real kicker tho, is if you check in they give you a free Thai iced tea. For the food and price itself, I would have given a 4-4.5. But the free Thai iced tea is the icing on top that makes it at 5 ;) I luv me some Thai iced tea. Would come again and frequently. Highly reccomended if your looking for good value Thai food around lunch time and around the area. Yea yea

Delicious and authentic Thai cuisine. My fiancée and I usually order their Panang Beef and Rad Na. They're very good here. Very flavorful. The staff are friendly, as well. It's a hidden gem in Lake Forest!

This is my favorite thai place at the moment. The number one reason...pumpkin curry!!!! I can't usually find it everywhere so anytime I see it on a menu you can be that's what I'm getting. My favorites here are the chinese broccoli dishes and the pumpkin curry. I've also had their Pad See Ew which was also really tasty. Their crying Tiger is really tender, but the Thai restaurant on Muirlands in the Albertson's plaza (forgetting the name at the moment) has a better one. I also do not recommend the pineapple fried rice but I don't usually recommend that anywhere. It's so bland! Service is usually really good and you get a free thai tea when you check in!

This is a 4.5 star affair or above. The BOAT NOODLES contain various meats and have a delicious broth. Even at a level 5 hotness it was doable for me and I'm a "weak ass" on spice (due to dietary restrictions mostly). I'm definitely going in on this next time. This time I simply sampled it from the wife's entree. The ANGEL WINGS are outstanding. Between the delicious fried crispy batter and tender hot chicken meat and the tasty ingredients stuffed inside this app is -- GOLDEN! The SPICY CATFISH pieces were nicely spiced at level 3. The flavor was bold and the fish was fairly moist. Sauteed peppers and veggies were mixed in. This was new to me but very good. COCONUT ICE CREAM -- it's good, not great. I prefer more creaminess than "iciness" but the flavor is good with apparent small pieces of coconut blended in. There weren't many pieces but I tasted a few. Good coconut flavor and doesn't have a highly artificial taste to it. The STAFF are friendly and efficient.

Came back on the weekend and the food was not as great as during the week I would recommend sticking to making an order during the week.

The food here is to die for. My boyfriend, his roommate, and I found this place randomly after stopping by the Salvation Army next door. The servers were extremely nice even though we showed up 30 min before closing. The food came out really fast and was super hot. We loved everything and even came back the next day. We've probably eaten here 5 more times in the past two weeks. Definitely our new addiction. I recommend the yellow curry and pad se ew with beef. You won't regret it! And for desert, the sweet rice with mango. You'll walk out more than satisfied.

Pleasing decor, decent Thai food that is maybe a bit toned-down for the Lake Forest crowd, but service was just a bit bland ... my server seemed like doing anything for me was drudgery. It kind of soured the whole experience and the food wasn't that great to rise above that.

    (3)
  • Trish C.

For Thai it's ok. It's a bit blan and can't say I'm a fan of this place. I've had better and will be choosing another Thai restaurant next time.

After 2 years of ordering regularly, I had a complaint about an order tonight and they did not take care of me. Very disappointing customer service. I ordered the Mee Krob. 2 pieces of small shrimp (for $9?), 5 bites of chicken, Zero egg and Tofu... tofu? that's not even in the ingredients. Tons of cheap fried rice noodles that are way too sweet. Total rip off. Called the restaurant and they said that's how it's supposed to be. Next time I will order from another of the many Thai restaurants in my area because they didn't try to fix it. Take care of your patrons and they will keep coming back...

This place is definitely a hidden gem with good Thai food and, even better, extraordinary lunch specials. A moderately fancy yet clean environment, with great service. For $6.95, you get quite a steal! You have the option of choosing from a good selection of entrees, ranging from curries, noodles, to stir-fries. And I also read reviews that said there wasn't rice included, but rice is included for lunch specials :). [Note that lunch specials are only from M-F 11am-3pm]. For me, curries and stir-fries are the absolute best, so I made sure to get both! Panang Curry with chicken: delicious. I highly recommend this one! The curry was flavorful and amazing. You could really taste that rich coconut milk based curry, and even though it was a 1 (you get to chose your spice level from 1-10), you still have somewhat of a semi-spicy kick to it. The dish also came with a selection of vegetables, which was absolutely great. Chicken was nice and succulent. Spicy Eggplant with vegetables: while I do think I should have opted for chicken, vegetables were still decent. You get a nice variety--from what I remember, bamboo shoots, corn, bell peppers, onions, and carrots. I thought dish was a bit on the salty side, but if you eat it with the rice, you can't really taste it. Still flavorful, but definitely recommend the Panang Curry over this. We also checked in, and with a check-in on Yelp, you get a free Thai Iced Tea! The Thai Iced Tea had nice crushed ice (my fave) that made it seem sort of slushy-ish. I read reviews about the drink being too sweet, and while I sort of agree, it wasn't so sweet that I couldn't even drink it. In my opinion, it was still pretty good. It definitely wasn't overwhelmingly sweet, and I'm pretty sensitive about sweetness! All in all, I would definitely come back here if I'm ever in the area and craving Thai food (which is like always).

Having just returned from Thailand we are still craving the food, especially Tom Yum something. Tried the Tom Yum house special on 2 occasions and it is very high quality, however needed to order spicy to get close to medium spicy (level 4 out of 10) that is in Bangkok. Will be back to try other items

My girlfriend and I came here for the first time and we loved it. The Papaya Curry with Pad Se Ew = bomb.com super delicious! The Thai Tea was good and service was excellent. They were really attentive and fast. Only draw back was that they charge for Rice with our Curry, which is really lame. And the Papaya Salad was not very good. But as far as the other dishes: Pad Se Ew and Papaya Curry those dishes will have us come back again.

Prices are a bit steep, but the food is great. Pad thai and curries are all a-ok! They were out of mangoes for the mango sticky rice, which was disappointing.

My husband and I came with our groupon ($25 worth of food, for $12) We tried the pumpkin red curry- very very tasty curry but we made the mistake of getting it with pork. The meat was tough and not very flavorful... Prob would be better with chicken or tofu. By the way, they charge you for rice (white or brown $1.50) the amount is generous but seriously what curry DOESN'T come with rice?? What would you eat it with? By itself like soup? Super sneaky The pad see ew was good! (With chicken) noodle was yummy and well cooked (spicy level 3/10 just the right amount of kick) Pad thai is weak... I ALWAYS get it, it's my golden standard to judge a thai restaurant. The noodle was undercooked and dry, needed more sauce or something.... I asked for lime wedges, which made it a bit better. But I won't get it again. Overall, we would prob come back, if we are in the neighborhood, bc it's kinda located in an empty (semi ghetto) plaza next to a Salvation Army center....

Came here the other day to order food to go. Service was good and fast, nothing to complain about. The girl at the register who took my order was very friendly and nice. I ordered Som Tum (papaya salad, extra spicy) and Chicken Pad Thai. The portion size was on the heaping side, liked it. The salad was good however I had asked for extra spicy and it tasted like there was no chili in there. The pad thai sauce was lacking, there was no burst of tamarind and sweetness to it. Not sure if I would come back as Pad Thai is my favorite dish and this experience left me wishing I had gone to the other Thai restaurants around the corners.

We have been back back many times in the last year. My family loves this place. My go to is the ginger stir fry. The sauce is delicious I can never finish the dish and leftovers are equally delish. My husband always get the pad see ewe beef which the whole family share and enjoy. My oldest son loves their fried rice and the youngest loves the broccoli stir fry and shrimp tempura. We've had the panang curry that was very tasty as well. We've brought other family members and friends to this restaurant and everyone have enjoyed their experience. We find the food quality, portion and flavor very consistent and the service is always attentive. This is now our go to Thai restaurant.

Great curry. Great flavor, not too watery. It was lacking in veggies but still a lot better than most I've had.

Service was a little slow but they have a very friendly staff. I had tofu pad Thai and it was delish! You wouldnt think much of this place as its not really in prime location but £ would recommend this place. It's better than most of the Thai places I've had in southern oc.

I have tried many Thai restaurants in the Orange Irvine area, but this one is my favorite. My wife was recommended this place from someone who works at Tutor Doctor. What a hole in the wall! I know this is weird, but the ice in the drinks is crushed up in small pieces just the way I like crushed ice. It makes my Thai ice tea tastes so much better, and I prefer that kind of ice much more than regular cubes. Some people may not take notice, but not a lot of restaurants serve drinks this way. (I know I have crushed ice fans out there! Holla!) Back to the food! My favorite dish is getting the chicken green curry with steam rice at spicy level 10. It has really good vegetables and you can tell the quality of the food is really fresh. My wife enjoys the chicken pad thai and also beef pad si io. I recommend coming in during the lunch specials. There are entries that come with a soup and salad. The soup is a wanton soup with a piece of pork. Really good! You can't go wrong with a curry or noodle dish. I recommend this restaurant anytime you are in need of Thai!

Our favorite Thai restaurant! Food is phenomenal- Best spring rolls I've ever had. Service is great too!!

Mistaking got the orange chicken here... It was nothing special.. I should have gotten a Thai dish but was blinded by the thought of orange chicken. I hadn't enjoyed any orange chicken for awhile! Overall I'd say 3 stars for this particular entree but I'm sure they have other tasty options. 3 stars.

Finally dropped in for lunch and the curry was so good! I had to update my review since I was a little harsh with the last one. Had the Panang curry lunch special w free Thai iced tea for checking in and it was delicious. Lunch is a great deal during the week if you could swing it at just under $10 including tip I got a big bowl of curry, brown rice, salad and soup. Will definitely be back for lunch soon!

This place's got a nice lunch special that I always order ranging from their pad thai to curry plus their free Thai tea upon checkin just makes it better. My only complaint is the rice that comes with their lunch special. Doesn't exactly make sense to have plain white rice when you're ordering noodles. Makes sense for my curry, but definitely feels like something place there to take up space that could have been used for more noodles.

Today I learned that you can put some carrot shreds on five pieces of lettuce and call it a salad. Overall, the food was underwhelming, the staff was sparse, and the experience was sub-par.

I was happy that they delivered since I'm from out of town and I'm a bit restricted without a car. Another bonus was for the ability to order directly from Yelp! Very Cool... But that was about the two best parts. I recently have been getting back into Thai food and have enjoyed some pretty nice restaurants on the east coast. I found this food just okay. The portions where big and it just reminded me more of Chinese take as opposed to the crisp, spicy and amazing noodles that a good Thai place produces. Even with giving them some leniency for the fact that it was take out - I was really really was disappointed with the noodles... They tasted good but were moosh...- I will look for better place and use Bhan as a backup.

Green curry and seafood fried rice. While there were some pieces of crab in the fried rice, I also spotted portion so imitation crab in the mix as well. I would have preferred they just left that out rather than trying to fill space. The curry was alright, but would have preferred that it come with rice as opposed to a la carte.

I literally live 3 minutes away from this place and I've only recently found out about this place. But I'm so glad that I did! First is the free Thai iced tea with the Check-In. Sure, it's not them at big of a deal but when you're craving something sweet as often as I am, little things like this make the difference for me. It's so rich and creamy - yeah there's probably a lot of sugar and cream in there, along with some artificial food coloring, but hey, it's not like I'm drinking this kind of stuff everyday. Much better than the watered down crap that I'm recently being served at Lollicup in Diamond Jamboree. The food is delicious, and the prices are cheaper than most places, I think most entrées were like $8. Not too spicy and not bland at all. I'm not a Thai cuisine connoisseur so I can't say much about authenticity and what not, but it's good on my palate. And while we were dining there, there was at least 3-4 people coming to pick up a to-go order. I'm not surprised at all since this place has good food for a good price. You can also order online directly from the Yelp app and have it delivered, which is also another plus to convenience (stop enabling my laziness!!! lol). I would definitely come back here again. Please give them your business too!

I usually don't order thai food online but this place I decided to give it a try and have to say they are right on time. I ordered chicken pad thai and tom yum soup but only downside is that the pad thai was not what I expected as I had better. It did not have much flavor on it but it was edible. Overall, they are on time on their delivery and tom yum was delicious besides the pad thai. I would recommend this place to everyone.

This location has changed 3 times now. In 2 years? I'm not sure what they're doing wrong, but maybe this time they'll get it right because I actually thought their food was pretty good. Although I've always liked all the food I've eaten here, throughout all the ownership changes. They have lunch specials that start at $6.95. This is a great deal! It comes out with a wonton soup that was absolutely delicious. I would definitely order this soup as a meal if it was offered. Usually I feel the free soup you get with your meal is always an afterthought, but not this soup. This soup came out with two wontons and big pieces of bbq pork. Mmmm... it was perfect. I ordered the spicy basil chicken. I asked for an 8 in spiciness and despite it being spicy, I felt it lacked flavor. I hate seeing my food covered in red hot chili flakes, I mean, I could have done that. I wish the heat came from thai chilis or serrano, instead of a massive amount of chili flakes that actually kind of tasted a little bitter. Despite that, I still enjoyed my food. The little salad on the side was refreshing as well. Love the dressing they use. After tax and tip, my meal came out to under $10, and if you know my work lunch rules, under $10 makes for a perfect lunch!

Ya, this place was really good. My husband got the yellow curry lunch special that also included a small salad and wonton soup. I ordered the lunch special Pad Thai with chicken and also a bowl of Tom Yum soup. The food was delicious and fresh out of the kitchen. Their Tom Yum soup was great! Big chunks of chicken, mushrooms and chilies in a spicy lemongrass broth. My father in law ordered the Red Curry dish and that actually ended up being my favorite! It was a creamy coconut milk red curry and it was the best I ever had! I will definitely come back to try this dish.

This is our go-to spot for Thai food at my office. I favorite curry is the mussamun. I can literally just mix this sauce with rice and eat it everyday. All the items we order were always very delicious. Ordering online was simple and delivery is fast and courteous. Highly recommended. Came in to pick up my own order today and restaurant is very clean with a modern flair decor.

Coming here during my lunch break leads to unproductive afternoons. Their lunch special is a great deal - around $7 for soup, salad, a main dish, and rice. During the last time I came here, I ordered green curry while my friend ordered the pad Thai. The portions are pretty big considering the low price. I ended up eating the entire dish, which led to a bad food coma at work. Overall, this is a great place for a lunch break so long as you have an hour to spare.

MAY 2013 I dined in at Bhan Baitong during lunch after spotting the grand opening of a Thai restaurant with an authentic sounding name. According to Wikipedia, "Bhan Baitong" means "house of wrapping with banana leaf". The restaurant opened a week ago. When I stepped in, I received a positive impression from the Thai music which hinted authenticity. However, excitement turned into disappointment when I was presented with a boring lunch special menu catered to the American tastes. Although Bhan Baitong claims to be armed with experienced Thai chefs, dishes on the limited lunch menu do not completely represent Thai food. It contains very generic Asian stir fry dishes that can be found at most Thai restaurants. I was disappointed when I didn't see even pad see ew or pad kee mao on the lunch menu. I asked the waiter for a recommendation, as an indirect way for her to point me towards the restaurant's special Bangkok dishes. I was hoping she would step her best foot forward, but she replied "Try the Pad Thai and Pad See Ew, they are really good". Since I was looking for something more than ordinary Thai, I ordered a Tom kha noodle off the dinner menu ($7.99). The soup was very delicious, with a very strong and thick coconut and galangal base and fresh ingredients used (lemongrass, mushrooms, chicken, kaffir leaves). I would highly recommend it. I am eager to try other dishes on the regular menu. From first impressions though, the lunch menu will require substantial additions of authentic Thai dishes in order for me to return as a regular.

They are pretty good! If you look at my reviews my wife and I are on a journey to find the best Thai food around in South OC and gladly to tell you guys this is one of the better spots! Service was great, but the Thai ice tea was small to a point that a few sips will make it go bottom up. The rice isn't enough either for their curry plate but that doesn't stop me from giving them a 4 star because after all the taste is the most important.

Here in South County, we are not blessed with an array of epicurean nor ethnic options. Having internalized this distressing fact, I frantically scoured yelp before arriving to my culturally vapid town called Laguna Niguel. It was the four stars and free-with-check-in Thai iced tea that lured me in. Bhan Baitong rests in your standard, banal, Orange County strip mall. (It's neighbor to Kolla's Night Club if that helps any of you identify it's location more easily.) It's interior is lined with bamboo and hosts about a dozen, square tables; It is not fancy or shabby. The larb salad (with fried tofu) was made with iceberg lettuce, which was a huge disappointment. It also erred more on the dry side, the glorious larb dressing not evenly coating the majority of the salad. The tom kaa soup was the opposite; pure decadence. This version was very thick (which, is better than it being too watery) and it tasted as if they'd used more coconut cream than coconut milk. I wouldn't necessarily hold this against them, but it was just too rich for my tastes. The tofu in the soup was cut into huge pieces. No one needs THAT much tofu. The best part of this meal was the free iced tea. Let's be real: It's difficult to mess up a Thai iced tea. Generally, they all taste the same to me, but the one here had something very special going for it. Ice, ice baby. Here, they use the surprisingly underutilized small ball form of ice (The kind you find at Coffee Bean). This made the drink more like a slushy or a Thai shaved ice. It was exactly 1000% more enjoyable to have Thai iced tea this way. All in all, Bhan Baitong is a decent little place. The food isn't amazing, but it will get you by in a pinch. Slightly above average-3.5 stars.

Probably the best Thai restaurant in the Lake Forest area. Food is tasty, spice levels are good, staff is friendly, service is good, and the restaurant is clean. I have tried most of the other Thai restaurants in the area but Bhan Baitong is still the best.

One of my favorite Thai places to go to, and having a mother from northern Thailand - I'm picky! My mom craves the Yen Ta Fo soup from here, as it is the closest she can get to what she was used to growing up. May not be for everyone, as most Thai restaurants cook similar to the style known in Bangkok - which this isn't. Hard to find a place that serves Ruam Mit (dessert), but Bhan Baitong has it - and it's delicious!!! If you're looking for 'Chinese/Thai' food, I guess you might want to look elsewhere... But for me and my family, it's worth the drive from Pasadena area!!!

Maybe I'm new to Cali and have not dine at any other Thai restaurant, but this place is top notch. Everything that we ordered was delicious which included the papaya salad, Pad Kee Mao, Seafood fried rice and Sizzling beef(first time trying). Food was also served promptly.

Very good Thai restaurant in Lake Forest. I've been here twice so far and each time was very good. I have to eat here several more times to see if I edit my review and give it 5 stars instead of 4. The décor inside is clean and modern industrial which is pretty good. The lights on the ceiling are unique.

This place is Addicting, I have only ate at the restaurant twice and service is good and they are very accommodating but I mostly do delivery. I love everything on the menu so far that I have tried, my personal favorite is the yellow curry with extra baby corn and carrots, and for an appetizer I love the idea of their wontons filled with avocado.

first time eating Bhan Baitong's food was through company's catering and I thought they were pretty good for catered food. Portions were big too! For the catered lunch, we had Pad-thai with chicken (which consist the right amount of sweetness and the noodles were cooked perfectly); apple and chicken satay (i thought this was an interesting dish - it was pieces of satay chicken on a bed of green apple slices. I thought there was WAY too much apples and not enough chicken, the ratio wasn't even. but the chicken and the peanut sauce was really good). The fried rice was decent (i wasn't sure what type of fried rice it was but it was alright -- nothing special). Since the food was decent for a catered luncheon, I thought that means dine-in should be better. So I came here with a co-worker and had a tom-yum noodle soup and in my opinion for the price they give you a decent amount of food. the taste of the tom yum was flavorful and had just the right amount of heat. the restaurant is clean and the service is good. Prices are reasonable for the amount of food they give you. I recommend this place for a quick lunch if you work around the area. Sure there are other thai restaurants around the neighborhood, but I must say this is one of the better ones i've tried.

Came here for lunch on sunday afternoon. there wasnt many people inside, maybe about 2-3 customers including myself. the inside was clean and pretty cozy. the bathroom at the back side of the restaurant, however, isnt quite dirty and not so clean. the food i tried: - bowl of tom yum $6.95 - they put way too much lemongrass for the tomyum. it makes the whole tom yum flavors a bit off. but they do give tons of chicken inside :) - beef panang $8.95 - you can get cheaper panang if you choose tofu, chicken or pork as your protein ($7.95). extra $2 for the shrimp and $5 for the salmon. the panang came in a big bowl with tons of beef inside. but i didnt really like the panang here coz they make it way too sweet. its like eating sugary coconut curry.. - pad kee mao with chicken ($7.95) - like panang, the price of the noodle dishes depend on the type of protein you choose. i ordered my kee mao to be super spicy and they made it just the way i asked them. it was very spicy and my mouth feel numb after i ate couple of bites. i like it and again, they gave plenty of chicken. my main problem here is they charge you for rice. $1.50 for a bowl of rice... other places would normally give you for free.. and its not 50 cents whatsoever but $1.50.. such a ripoff! overall, the food here wasnt that bad but it wasnt anything special either. the price is a bit on the steeper side. plenty of parking spots outside and you wont have to worry about not finding any parking.

I'm glad I found this place close to work because once to two times a month I get to treat the employees to lunch. When I don't feel like driving out to get something for them or when they're sick of pizza, this is another option because they DELIVER! How awesome is that? Their food is always consistent. Their Pad Thai definitely earns its place as one of the best selling dish! I got to try their fried rice and I didn't expect much from it, but even then it impressed me. They even have lunch specials for merely $7? C'mon now! A wonderful family owned restaurant and I hope they stay for a long while!

This is my favorite Thai place!!! Not only is the food amazing and authentic, but the staff is kind and welcoming. I brought my friend recently who previously spent months living in Thailand. He says most American Thai places have been disappointing. He loved it! After eating here it's the only place he asks to go when he comes in town! The place may not look fancy but it is worth it!

Wow, I'm so excited to find a good Thai restaurant in my area! Good Pad Thai is very hard to find, I usually order something else, but was in the mood for some Pad Thai, the sweet, spicy, crunchy noodles. I was very happy! I ordered mine with shrimp and they had about 5 or 6 good size shrimp. The shrimp could have been a little fresher. I looked at other photos on Yelp and it looks like this place knows how to cook good Thai food. I'm looking forward to coming back. Service was nice, she leaves you alone mostly, but not a problem.

I got delivery from Bhan Baitong Thai Cuisine for the first time the other night and loved it! The Chicken Satay appetizer is amazing! It comes with 6 chicken skewers. The chicken is tender and has a flavorful marinade on it, and there's a delicious peanut sauce on the side to dip the skewers in. So good! I also really liked the wonton soup. It's a plain broth, but they give you a spicy sauce on the side that you can add to it. It has shrimp, chicken, and wontons, with vegetables. So yummy! The gyoza is good, but nothing special. I didn't really care for the dipping sauce that came with it. Overall, I highly recommend Bhan Baitong Thai Cuisine. I can't wait to eat here again and try some of the other menu items.

I love supporting family owned shops who do it right and this is one. Food is good. Checked. Price is decent. Checked. Portion is generous. Checked. Customer service is good. Checked. Decor is appropriate. Checked. Bonus: Thai Ice Tea Boba is good. Checked. Although the freshness of the boba balls may depend on when they make it. Please stay that way. I feel like some of the Asian restaurants around here used to be good in the beginning, but they got cocky and started decreasing the quality and service while increasing the price. (Pho Bo Vang and Thanh Binh II, I'm looking at choo.)

Whether it's lunch or dinner, the food at Bhan Baitong is always tasty and affordable. Combine that with attentive service and a clean, modern atmosphere, and it's become one of our favorite restaurants in the area. At $6.95, the lunch specials are a great deal! They come with soup, salad, rice, and your entree. Some of our Favorites: - Tom Yum: Bursting with flavor. - South Sea Fried Rice: Super tasty seafood fried rice. - Curries: Yummy Remember to check-in for complimentary thai iced tea :)

This thai restaurant is worth the hour + drive it takes for me to get there, haha. Then again, I dont know much about thai food... but shhhh no one needs to know that. I thought the food was delicious! My boyfriend had the groupon so we ordered a ton of different items in order to get our $40 worth of food. YUMMAY. Although we confused the rice with egg for fried rice with egg in it and that ended up being a little weird but still good. Pad thai! I really liked the pad thai because it wasnt dry and I ordered it with tofu, which I thought was cooked not too hard and not too soft. The restaurant wasnt busy at all when we went and I liked that because the service was great! George and Mick were a great help. Plus, I was extra thirsty (not really I just drink lots of water) and they made sure my water cup was always filled LOL.

The curry is so good! GET THE PAD KEE MAO SPICY OR THAT ONE SPECIAL SEAFOOD FRIED RICE. The sauces they put on those are soooo good! HOWEVER, DO NOT GET THE TOM YUM NOODLES. The soup is good, but thats all what you will be eating. The soup is TOO hot for anyone to eat at first, but then while you drink the soup or wait for it to cool, within 2 minutes the noodles are super expanded and mushy already. Then you will have to watch your family/friends around you eat super bomb food and it will make you even hungrier O_O Free thai tea with check in is awesome as well

I'm so happy to have finally found a Thai place that delivers! And guess what? The food is great and the service is awesome! I've ordered from here twice in the past 2 weeks. The Pad See Ew with beef is delish, the Yellow Curry with chicken is bomb, the Thai Ice Tea is perfect, and the Beef Satay is insanely good! I've also had the Angel Wings, which were decent but unfortunately a tad bland. Both times I've ordered, my food arrives fresh and hot with lots of smiles and friendliness. I have become a big fan of this place and will definitely continue to order from this place when I'm craving Thai (which is often) and I don't want to leave the house or cook. I can't wait to try more items on the menu! I definitely recommend giving this place a try if you're in the mood for Thai!

Closest flavors to real Thai food. If you like Thai Nakorn... You'll like Bhan Baitong. Made a visit on the restaurant's 1st anniversary and I've finally found a real Thai restaurant. These days making Thai food seems to be an easy thing. Many people don't know the difference so as long as it tastes good, everyone will say it's good Thai food. However what sets a real Thai restaurant apart includes this... Rule #1: It has to have some sort of gaudy window cling that says THAI FOOD even though the sign clearly states it is. Rule #2: There needs to be neon lights somewhere before you walk into the restaurant. Rule #3: If there isn't a Buddha shrine and a picture of the king... They aren't really Thai. Pros: *Noodles are properly made... Burning sugar to get that nice dark color and flavor. *Thai tea is sweet. The way it should be! Thai tea is the sweet tea of the far east.. *Pineapple rice is made correctly. The pineapple isn't the show but a great addition to a delicious fried rice dish. Cons: *Americanized won tons. I get it... There is a market for it. Do they need it? No. *Can't think of anything else yet but if I do, you'll be the first to know!

I agree with Jim T's take on Bhan Baitong...... I'll probably return. Prices are fair, food is good, and the service OK. A dear fellow Vietnam Vet, and Bronze Star recipient, allowed me to take him to dinner this evening. Part of my combat photo service included one year near the Thai-Lao border, and it was then in '68 and '69 that I developed an appreciation for Thai cuisine, albeit much of the food made by "road vendors" passing through our village. This restaurant has a very contemporary design, and I actually was surprised. I liked it. We ordered the Chicken Satay, and the Pad Se Ew with Shrimp, and an order of white rice. With a wonton soup bowl, a tea and Coke, the entire bill was $30. We both enjoyed the meal. Flavors were as I expected. In short, I don't think you can go wrong here........ I'll be back with my Wife! BTW... back in '68, and during the Vietnam war, full entree sizes of Thai fried rice (Kow Pot); 2-baht ($0.10)... "Two orders to go" of Lard Na w-Beef & Broccoli; 3-Baht ($0.15 and wrapped in newspaper and banana leaf!). More 1960's Thai food trivia..... When we were on base, with a little makeshift booth-kiosk-hut-thing set up near the flight line, a Fried Egg Sandwich with a Coke? 3-Baht ($0.15). So many options for under "Twenty Cents!" Oh..... downtown, when we could go, you could get a (huge) "Water Buffalo Steak Dinner" for about $2 US. Just sharin' is all.

So good!!!! We have ordered delivery from this place a few times. This is now our go-to Thai place! Their Chicken Pad Thai is amazing and very generously portioned. The chicken satay, beef skewers, egg rolls and crab rice are also really good! Service is friendly and delivery is quick as it can be. Definitely try this place, you won't be disappointed!!!

Best Thai in Lake Forest/Irvine area! Penang beef curry, fried chicken stuffed wing, green curry chicken, beef satays....are all good. Most authentic tasting thai in the area. Checkin on yelp and get a free thai iced tea for free. Great for groups because the restaurant is usually not packed due to the lousy location on where it is. And entrees are priced mad cheap -- all around $12.

First time picking up from here and thoroughly impressed!!!! Love that you can order online and food was ready when I got there... Ordered the Tom Yum Soup & Green Curry (my typical go to at Thai restaurants) & both were spectacular, however I would get the soup a little spicier next time because I like to sweat a little when thai-ing :)

I've been here a few times. Always with coworkers and almost always for a special occasion like someone's birthday. I've heard people say that this is the best Thai restaurant in the area. But I'm not that impressed. I think the food is decent but not great. It might be the best in the area, but probably not by too much. One nice thing about Bhan Baitong is the free Thai iced tea when checking in. Also, the lunch special is actually a good deal for the amount of food you get for the price. But, besides coming here with coworkers, I don't think I would go on my own.

I have ordered delivery from Bhan Baitong 3 times to my hotel room. The food has always been flavorful, seasoned just right and they take a lot of pride in timeliness and delivering the food in the appriopriate manor. Each time I ordered something different and each time I have fallen in love with the all of the dishes. I have been raving about this place to my co-workers and my relatives that live in the area. Tonight will make my 4th order and next week when I return, I will be ordering again!!! Can you see where I am going with this....at this rate my my work out regimen will have to increase 10 fold!! It's well worth the extra reps!!!

I wasn't planning on lunch here but I was in the mood for a meatless lunch and knew this restaurant had good Yelp reviews so I thought I should try it. Simple clean interior. Pleasant staff. Not at all crowded for lunch time. Location hurts them here but good for me. I ordered Red Curry with Tofu. Soup came out first. A simple won ton soup. Broth was flavorful. the lettuce in the soup, looked like strips of romaine were nice but too long for incredibly small teaspoon they gave me to eat the soup with. The two wontons were firm but lacked flavor. Overall it was tasty. A good start despite my small complaints. The curry arrived quickly. Looked good. Had a small iceberg salad on the side. Salad was clean and crisp. Light dressing. Well done. The curry had good flavor but I ordered it as a 9 out of 10 on the spicy scale. It was prepared as a 1 out of 10 and they gave me four bowls of chili peppers. I guess I have to figure out how to make it a 9. Also the sauce was a little sweet and heavy for my taste. I prefer it a little lighter. The tofu was medium firmness and it was cubed, but not fried as some places do to give it a little texture. All the vegetables were fresh. Portions were perfect for lunch. Price is great. Overall I give them 4 stars and will try them again.

I was used to the pad thai at Thai Spice and this was a bit different but still very good. Not sure what one I prefer more but this one seemed to be presented in a way that is likely more authentic than the one at Thai Spice. The price on the pad thai is decent as well.

One of the better Thai places around Irvine/Lake Forest. Inside is clean and service is pretty fast. Ordered their panang, spicy. Normally when I order dishes "spicy," it almost always never turns out "spicy." When you order spicy here, it's spicy. Not spicy to the level I want it, but enough spice to feel it on my lips and in my stomach :p Their panang is goooood. Other places' panangs have veggies here and there, but the panang at this place comes with a good amount of veggies. I love my meat, but need veggies to balance it out a bit (oh and their beef in the panang was tender). Sad that their pickled chili peppers were not spicy. I love the really spicy peppers. Anywho, I'll definitely come back to try more dishes. Their sweet mango rice looked super good in a picture on a table.

Oh what a nice refreshing treat after a day at the fair! I had their seafood soup, "Poh Tak." I never had it... it was soooo good! Broth was infused with lemongrass, lime, ginger, chili, and other aromatic herbs... it had scallops, fish, muscles, clams, shrimp... assorted seafood... it was clean tasting and very tasty! I didnt have to add any salt or pepper. It had the perfect amount of spice for me. My husband had their curry. He really loved it! I also had shrimp pad thai to go for my parents and they said it was very tasty!!! I didnt like their Thai Ice Tea. It was too sweet and the boba was under cooked. It was a free item if you checked in at Yelp... I didnt complain to them about it because it was free... thank you. The service was pleasant and nice. Since it was my first time, I asked what was popular with the soup... he went through and described them for me..and It helped give a good tasting soup!!! ;) delicious!!! ;)

Overall it was ok ordered red curry hot it was not spicy at all and had very little vegetables in it I was wanting a nice hot good flavored curry this was not it. Kinda bland and lacked depth of flavor I also ordered spicy basil chicken again no spice to it what so ever and a lot of juice again the flavor profile was just not there the service was friendly the food was ok I've had better elsewhere I may give them a second chance and order something else next time

Penang Curry is on the spot! They don't give you rice, thats the only bad thing. Sticky Mango Rice was great and if you check in on Yelp you get a free Thai Tea. Ive only been here on Sundays and its inside a strip mall near a business park. The place is clean and service is good,

I was not really excited about the Thai places near my house, so decided to turn to Yelp for some good Thai food recommendations. Bhan Baitong had some good reviews and wasn't too far away, so I decided to give it a try. I phoned in my order and headed over. When I got there, I noticed the place was busy (It was a Saturday at 6:30 pm). The phone was ringing and waitresses were running all around delivering food, taking orders and handling to-go orders. Even though they were busy, I was greeted with a friendly smile and was attended to very quickly. I was offered a glass of water while I waited and sat down near the register area. The floor plan is a basic square, but it has a nice welcoming feeling inside. (Not too fancy or casual, right in-between). I met a couple of other people who were there for the first time getting take out, based on Yelp reviews. The first person pointed out that they offer a free Thai iced tea when you check in on Yelp.. Score! Anyway, I got the food in a relatively quick time and headed back home. The smell in my car was great, so I knew it was going to be a tasty meal. I ordered the Panang curry chicken, the spicy basil chicken, pad see ew, tom ka soup and the seafood salad. Everything was top-notch. Great flavors, perfect amount of spice for each dish I ordered. The portions were just right. The prices are reasonable as well, with many of the dinners at $7.95 and most under $10. I'm looking forward to going back soon on a date night with my wife. If you like good Thai food, give this place a try.

The food is great but the prices are a but steep. I went during lunch with my boyfriend and we were the only people there! If you check in with yelp you get a free Thai iced tea which is a plus. Try the coconut soup and the pad thai, you can never go wrong with those. Their coconut soup was a bit more creamy than I'm used to but still good!

Solid Thai food and they have online delivery! Pad Thai, Tom Yum Goong Soup and their Green Curry are fantastic!!! We only order online and we have never had a problem. Delicious!

Came by for Nory's. Again no one at the front. I called out twice to no response at 12 noon, then left. Went next door to Bhan. Had the eggplant with tofu here. It was excellent.

Bhan Baitong is very good! My mom and I ordered a papaya salad and pad thai with shrimp. The restaurant has a modern, yet traditional setting. I checked in on Yelp to get a free thai tea, which was sweet and refreshing. The food came out 10-15 minutes later. The portions were small, especially for the price. The presentation of the dishes were beautiful and neat. The papaya salad was very good, and the pad thai was delicious. I wished they gave me more papaya salad for the eight dollar price tag. Despite the price, the food was high quality and amazing! Will return again!

Last I ate here it was Twisted Noodle. I knew they wouldnt last and I am so very pleased that it was replaced with a really good Thai restaurant. BF ordered the spicy spaghetti. Hot and Hot! The dish was served right off the grill. Fresh as can be and oh so spicy. He absolutely enjoyed it. I ordered the yellow chicken curry. Flavor was very good. Could have used a little more heat. Most Thai restaurants give you a heat option. Not on this dish. We shared the Pad Thai noodles with shrimp. Flavor was excellent. Only complaint is again, give us an option for more heat. Also while it looks good to leave the shrimp tails on it is no fun when you bite into them. Service was excellent. The servers are very friendly and quite attentive. We will be back. Thank you

Ive never written a review until today because I sincerely was displeased with not only my food but also by the service. I just moved into the Lake Forest area and was craving for good Thai and this place had one of the highest reviews with 200+ reviews so I thought this would be a good place. To my surprise, the place was almost empty.. there were 3 customers there. I ordered two items and was told that the wait would 10-15 minutes. I waited 20 minutes. C'mon?! You have no customers waiting on food, and it took 20 minutes to make spring rolls(takes me 3 minutes; especially if everything is already prepped it would have been shorter) and to cook crying tiger. If you promised your customer max 15 minutes, you should have kept it... Spring roll was okay, but crying tiger? I had better and all that for ~20 dollars?! SO NOT worth it. Won't be coming back here... I will be trying out Thai Spice next. And no rice? You should have told me when I ordered.... what kind of Asian place serves cooked meat without rice?! or doesnt even ask the customer for it?

Went here for lunch while heading back to San Diego. Doesn't look like much on the outside but very cool on the inside. I had the pad Thai with chicken lunch special and it was great. My buddy had he grilled chicken lunch special. Both were great and the service was outstanding. Total bill with tip was $26 for both of us.

I moved on to some other items, and found the food overall to be quite good. The service was friendly and attentive, so I will just jump to the food. Rad Na: Tender and just the correct firmness for chewy broad rice noodles, we had it with beef. The sauce was very tasty, and the dish really worked. Crying Tiger: A tender beef salad with lettuce, carrots, and cucumber. The spicy lime green dipping sauce made this dish. It was a definite do-again. Loved this. Angel Wings: Crunchy, but a bit on the dry side. Just okay, but the kids loved it. Orange Chicken: Just what it is, but done well. Crunchy and tasty for the kids. They devoured it. Better than most places for orange chicken. Eggplant: Very good. Comes with choice of meat, and lots of veggies. I really enjoyed this dish, but wish it was all eggplant, as that is the best part. Great deal using a Groupon. The portions are such that each person should order an ala carte entree for the table to share. They aren't big plates, but they are enough.

This place was perfect. If you enjoy Thai food but are used to the hole-in-the-wall places you will be blown away. This restaurant is spotless, classy, and the staff is cheerful and friendly. The service wasn't flawless, the waiter did make a basic mix up and swapped our plates but who cares! The food was delicious. I had their pad see ew with white rice and chicken. It came with salad and wonton soup (both were great). I also ordered a coke which came canned but they provided a malt glass of crushed I've to drink it with. For 10$ the meal was satisfying, filling, and a 100% would recommend for lunch. If you like Thai this is the place for you when you're on lunch, a date, or just need a meal!

Loved the Shrimp Bacon Wraps and the Chicken Omelette rice here. This place has Simple clean interior. The biggest drawback for them is their location but very few people for dinner. The staff can do a better job. They keep rushing you.

The food is great, however the online delivery service fails -- beware when ordering through Yelp/EAT24. They do not provide clear and defined delivery fees and jurisdiction. After I placed ,y online order for the 5th time, they called me and now indicate I'm out of the region? They now tell me, I'm just outside their 3 mile territory from the restaurant location.

    (2)
  • Pia D.

I come here for their green curry. It is really good. I like that they incorporate tangible pieces of cucumber. So refreshing. I also like the Tom Yum. Reminds me of Sinigang. They are very decently priced and you definitely get huge portions. If you find yourself craving Thai food (it happens to me at least biweekly,) this is the place.

    (5)
  • Jhoanna C.

I've eaten here plenty of times and have even had delivery a few times. They deliver within a 3 mile radius for free. And the online ordering makes everything that much easier. They have frequently have a Groupon (only good for dine-in) out so be sure to check before you go. The Crying Tiger salad is really good, I especially like the sauce. I get the sauce medium spicy and it's just right for me. I always get the Pad See Ew with tofu. It has just the right amount of sweetness. They give you a pretty healthy size portion, but that's okay with me since it makes great leftovers. I've also had the Panang Curry with chicken, Tom Yum soup with shrimp, Pad Thai with chicken, and spicy Thai fried rice. All of these dishes have great flavor and are server with lots of whichever protein you choose. But beware if you ask for something really spicy, it's really spicy! If you come here for lunch, they have lunch specials for only $6.95. They are just the size too.

Their pumpkin curry is very good try it!! Also the seafood pineapple fried rice is really good not greasy and great flavor. The spicy eggplant is also not greasy and flavorful! Don't forget to use the free Thai ice tea!

First time trying this restaurant & enjoyed the food & excellent service! We had Pineapple fried rice with chicken which was loaded with sliced chicken breast. Very tasty! Also had the yellow curry & it was very good as well. Will come back to try some other dishes. Oh, the Thai iced tea was also very good!

Went here for the first time last week for lunch with my parents and I'm a fan. Incredible lunch deals - for $6.99, you get an entree, wonton soup, and salad (salad is served on the same plate as the entree). I got the beef panang and my mom got the yellow curry with shrimp. I believe it's an extra $1 o $2 to get shrimp. Panang was tasty - high quality beef and perfect coconut flavor. I got mine medium spice and it was just right... a little kick to it, yet I did not feel like I was pepper sprayed. I might ask for it a little spicier next time. Definitely Americanized Thai food here, which speaking strictly for myself, I like. Bhan Baitong is very close to my office, so I'll definitely be back!

I been here many times and service is always good! The food is alright! I love thai food!!! I'm there for my spicy shrimps soup, but I'll never order the soup again. The other dishes I ordered was okay that's why they get 4 stars plus their service. I'll come back for the great service and other food but not the soup.

Very clean and nicely set up Thai restaurant. It wasn't too packed for lunch and the waiters were very attentive. I ordered the Tom Yum Noodle Soup and my friend got the House Tom Yum Noodle Soup. If I had to choose, I would pick his over mine. Mine didn't come with bean sprouts and the soup wasn't as flavorful. His came with lots of seafood and lots of bean sprouts and the broth was so tasty! I would come back to try the other items on the menu. Each dish is less than $10!

I come here all the time - they have great pad thai and the pricing is more than reasonable. The dish comes with a soup, salad and side if rice which are all good and the free Thai Tea promotion tops it off.

This place was seriously one of the best parts of staying in the OC area. We were on our way to PF Chang's and decided to look for a Thai place instead. This place came up with a lot of good foodie recommendations so we decided to come by. We got the pork fried rice ( bomb) green curry ( amazingly bomb) and the pad see ew noodles were seriously this most yummy I have ever had.. My boyfriend ( who isn't a foodie but a drinker) loved the cheap wine selection with graft selections. Great place to go to! Amazing!

    (5)
  • Alex M.

good good. I say no fish sauce and no meat - vegetarian and they actually do it! Do you know how hard this is to find!? Most Thai restaurants say they will make it no fish sauce but guess what, fish sauce up the ass slathered all over your meal unapologetic-ally. These guys deliver too, they rock. Good flavors good people.

Fantastic! I work at a local hotel and we recommend this place all the time. I hadn't tried it yet, so I odered some delivery and it was great food! Very tasty drunken noodle (Kee Mao on the menu), not super dry at all. Not at all expensive. Delivery driver was very nice and did not look grungy at all like a lot of delivery people tend to look... over all I am very happy with my experience and will order again.

This review is for take-out only! I ordered online (for lunch at work) before the restaurant officially opened and it was ready and waiting for me when I arrived for pick up! Staff was very friendly. Portions were generous. I ordered pad see ew with beef and pad kee mao with chicken, spicy. I always order spicy because restaurants are usually very conservative with the spice but not here! Super spicy pad kee mao, just how I like it. My nose was definitely running (tmi?). Pad see ew is my favorite and this place does it right. The noodles were the perfect consistency. I'll have to come back to try the curries and rice dishes.

Always tasty sharp flavors not overdone with salts or sugars, fresh herbs and spices make the meal. Never been to the restaurant location itself just based off of timely delivery! I cant wait to have a dinner there. Rock the avacado wantons!

Just passing through the area and used Yelp to find food. I decided to check it out and even though it was completely empty, something made me stay. So glad I did!!! The food was so tasty and fresh. Such a great variety of spices. Everything was perfect. The service was great and they were super friendly and informative. Restaurant is very clean, too! Thank you fellow Yelpers! Another WIN!

The best dish hands down here is the Basil Leaves Chicken with Fried Egg for lunch or dinner. It is minced chicken, vegetables, basil over rice and a fried egg on top. What's not to like. I tried the lunch specials which is good but not as good as the Basil Leaves Chicken. Place is clean which is also a plus. Service is very good.

    (4)

This place is bomb!!! The Tom Ka gai soup is delicious, it's similar to a recipe I had in Berlin. Their pad see ew was also bomb. I highly recommend this place!!

I've been to this restaurant twice in the past month; I like it. The first time the food was decent; the second time better. Perhaps it was better because we ordered more authentic Thai food the second time-- Chinese broccoli with crunchy pork, and a non-pad thai noodle dish. The restaurant was quiet both Sundays we went. I hope they do a better week-day business, otherwise they're in trouble. Good service, good food, reasonably priced. They have week-day lunch specials too!

I'm not the world's expert on Thai food, but I love the Pad Thai combo, the Pad See Ew, and the Tom Ka and Tom Yum soups. The veggie and chicken egg rolls are pretty great, too! Must say I've had better Gyoza, so that was a little disappointing. They do deliver in a small area - but an extra $5 got them to my house, when I was craving Thai and couldn't leave the kids. My husband really likes the curries. Can't wait for dinner tonight!

"Best Thai Delivery in all of OC!" Coming from Los Angeles and moving most recently to the OC I was in need of a good Thai restaurant that would deliver. Thanks to "YELP" I was able to find such a great place that satisfies my every craving. From Mee-krob to classic Thai BBQ, everything on the menu so far is hands down delicious. I still need to come eat at the actual location and shake hands with the cooks. PS. You have such great food that I even reached out to OC Weekly in hopes that they contact you to be featured in the paper for "BEST THAI IN OC" Signed your new loyal customer-Thee Zephyr

I was in a bit of a crunch to find a good delivery place tonight and then I remembered that I had had a great experience a few months ago with Bhan Baitong Thai. We ordered and they were extremely friendly on the phone. The delivery came pretty quick (20-30min) and food was hot and order was accurately executed. The food was great and everything that we were craving (they adjusted spices exactly as I had requested over the phone) I recommend their delicious Tom Kar Kai (Coconut Lemongrass Chicken) soup (my favorite), Yellow Curry with chicken (husband's favorite) with a side order of white rice, and Mango Sticky Rice (kids' favorite) for dessert . The papaya salad was good/decent, but I might try something different next time. I've found it hard to find a reliable friendly and tasty restaurant such as this one for delivery in this area (Lake Forest/Laguna Hills). Thank you Bhan Baitong for making my family's dinnertime tonight so pleasant. Keep up the good work! :)

We responded to the high ratings for Bhan Baitong on Yelp and were not disappointed. We were warmly welcomed and promptly seated. The restaurant (and the restrooms!) are spotless and nicely decorated. The menu is extensive. That was the only tough part of our visit- making a decision. We have a mixed marriage- I am a vegan and my wife is a carnivore. We were both very pleased. The food was delicious, well presented and generously portioned. We are very pleased with this place and only hope that all the great reviews don't make it too crowded.

I've actually found several new Thai restaurants in south OC over the last few years, the competition is tough! I tend to visit a few different places depending on who's closest when I'm hungry, but lately I've been stopping here for the reasonably priced lunch specials and in the evenings, the duck stew! Great flavors and good value on that dish and the other more traditionally available dishes like pad thai, pad see ew, spicy basil, tom kha etc and there's some tasty selections available for my vegan spouse. Nice and clean, modern decor, and the staff is friendly and available. Recommended

Unsanitary and awful customer service! My friend and I just finished having lunch there moments ago, and I am shocked by their disinterest in their customers. Here is what happened: My friend was adding some of the hot sauces they being out in the four containers, and after adding rag a couple spoons, she found a gnat floating around the spoon! I get it, stuff like this happens. We asked them to simply take her food away, remove to from the check, and move on. Instead, we got NO apology, tons of attitude, and they acted like they were doing us a favor taking 20% off the check. You guys are freaking ridiculous. Worst Thai restaurant in the area. Avoid at all costs, unless you like bugs in your food.

  • C S.

Everything is fresh and good!! Nice clean atmosphere and good service. Definitely recommend the Pad Kee Mao. Tom Yum soup is average. Curries are all pretty good! But nothing too special compared to other Thai places. Phad Thai is good too :) Overall it's a solid Thai restaurant. Will be back soon!!

  • Jason F.

Don't eat here I am confident that there must be better restaurants nearby. I ordered a Thai tea, beef drunken noodles, and chicken penang curry. The one cup of Thai tea must have had a pound of sugar in it, and i know that it supposed to be sweet, but this was out of control. The drunken noodles were over cooked and the restaurant obviously opted for a cheaper noodle then I would have preferred. Finally the penang, which was the most disappointing dish, was over cooked and seemed to be separating in to a layer of oil and a layer of coconut sediment. I'm not sure exactly what would cause a curry to separate like that but it was unpleasant to look at and not terribly pleasant to eat.

We tried Bhan Baitong for the first time last night. We were a couple of miles outside their delivery zone, but for a $5 extra they went the extra mile...we were so grateful! The food was definitely the best Thai we have found in this area yet, and we've tried a few. We had the Eggplant Tom Kha Noodles Cream Cheese Avocado Won Tons Kee Mao Great website, ordered and paid online, fast delivery, mobile server was very positive and pleasant. We are now fans! Thank you Bhan Baitong!!!!

Best Thai lunch deal in the area. $6.95 made to order and it includes soup and a salad. I have been here at least 10 times this year alone and they have never let me down. Also a great place to order from and pick up. They get packed at lunch so if you don't want to eat go early or a little closer to 1:00. And as far as service they are very sweet and accommodating.

  • Sami D.

I LOVE this place. It's right around the corner from my apartment and never fails to be awesome. We've placed orders online for either delivery or pickup, and it has always gone smoothly. The online process is easy to get through, and they are honest with whether or not they can meet the delivery time. The food always arrives fresh, hot and tasty. The service has always been honest, and kind. We had to go pick up our food a few times because delivery would have taken too long, but they were quick to let us know that our food was almost ready. We've had quite a few of the dishes by now but I highly recommend the garlic and black pepper with beef. The sticky rice is my boyfriends favorite. Soup was flavorful and refreshing. Pad Thai is good if that's your usual go to thai favorite. I am very sensitive to spiciness and I find that this place tends to go easy on the spices so if you are into more robust flavors make sure you say so, I'm sure they'll accomodate you.

I was excited about this place! Thai places are aplenty but their quality, consistency, and portions can be lacking. I was even more excited with the hubs said he would pick it up for me!! My excitement was sadly deflated when the man on the other side of the line informed me that if I wanted rice, I would need to get it on the side. It is not served with my panang. I love to support smaller businesses, especially ones with delicious Thai food, however I find it difficult to support a place that charges for white rice. Really? It seems a little greedy. What else am I supposed to eat my curry with? Rice typically what is eaten with panang and not to serve it WITH defeats the purpose of the dish. Many Thai dishes are not meant to be standalone and in fact, don't taste good alone. For this reason alone I took away a star. As for the food, it was good. I've had better but I've had far more worse. I can't speak for its consistency yet because I've only dined here once.

My new favorite Thai place!!! I used to go to elephant Thai in san Dimas and then I changed jobs and didn't go there for 2 years, since it was near where I lived. Kept looking for amazing Thai restaurants the were as good and couldn't find any, lots of misses over the 2 years, until I found this place near my office and I am in love! Food is delicious, quality is great for the price and lunch portions are huge! Great value. :) will be eating here for a long time! Their red curry with chicken is amazing and the spicy eggplant with beef is bomb! Yummy!

Ambience of this place is brilliant. Food is good but I have had better pho and fresh salad rolls elsewhere. Avoid the fresh coconut, it's refrigerated and doesn't taste anything like a fresh coconut. But it's a nice place with good Thai food and extremely friendly service.

My wife and I are hooked on this place! I had a lot of trouble finding a good Thai restaurant in the area, and I discovered this place by accident one night. The food is AMAZING! Try the sizzling beef and the barbecued fried rice! I am on my way there right now to pick up my weekly order. You definitely need to try this place!

My family and I love this place. They are super friendly even when we show up around 8pm because we get put off work or church late. They totally take care of us and are so nice. The food is so yummy. When you come in at lunchtime expect a wait, but that is, as any foodie knows, A Great Sign!! Regardless, Worth the wait. Mao (drunken noodles) is outstanding here and the service is superb Every Time! Great place for kids too:)

Great staff, amazing food, and reasonable prices. Can this be??? I was super bummed when my old lunch Thai haunt was shut down but this lovely gem popped up even closer to my job. Bhan Baiton hands down is my new favorite lunch place. - Service: it's attentive and personable. This is a huge plus for me as the other local Thai joints around the area, while delish, usually has achingly slow service disqualifying them from being a practical lunch choice during the week. - Food: very fresh, flavorful, and not drenched in sugar. The Pad Thai, Basil Beef, and Tom Yum has to be some of my favorite I've tried since coming down to the area. The not overly sweet part is a hugeeee plus in my book :) - Prices: The lunch special will set you back about 7 bucks which is pretty reasonable from my experiences of other lunch joints around the area. - Restaurant: VERY clean, new, and modern. This place added into my lunch rotation is definitely a welcomed addition

Came here on a Sunday night for dinner. Ordered Tom Kha soup, Gai Kua, and Pineapple curry. The food itself was good, but the proportions were small in my opinion. I think it was a bit overpriced for the proportions that were given. Service wasn't that great either. The waitress would bring us our food and drinks, but tried to leave very quickly before we could ask her for extra bowls for our soup. The food was decent, but I would not come back here again.

I came here with my family and after seeing the prices I thought it was individual plate style restaurant. To my surprise the portions were large enough to share. We had the Pad Thai, Pineapple Fried Rice, Pad See Ew, and Basil Chicken. Everything was seasoned well and came out in under 10 minutes pipping hot. Our waiter gave us enough time to order (unlike a lot of Asian restaurants these days), brought out our drinks promptly, and asked how we were doing after we got our food. Definitely the best Zagat rated place I've been to so far. -Great atmosphere -Friendly, efficient service (I never had to ask for a thing) -Perfect Portions -Delicious Thai food, seasoned perfectly - You're given a variety of chili's if you prefer spicier food - Get the Pineapple Fried Rice - Great experience and Ill be back

Best Thai food in the OC! Great service & amazing food! Love it here. I've referred all my friends and family members to come here. It's a new little restaurant, very clean with such a great atmosphere.

Since the name has changed this is my first time eating there. I had the green curry lunch special and asked for shrimp which is extra (no big). They let me swap the eggplant out for green beans. The wonton soup they served with the lunch special was especially tasty and very hearty. Green curry (mild) had a little kick and was flavorful, curry was the right consistency and color. Mini side salad was also delightful. Simple salad of iceberg lettuce, shredded carrot, crispy wontons and a sweet dressing. I'll be back again.

This place has three of my all-time favorite dishes - Duck soup, duck curry and pumpkin curry. Their duck soup has the rich Chinese five-spice laden dark broth. A few other Thai places have pumpkin curry. But this is the first one that I've been to that lets you have duck with the pumpkin curry. So, this is now my favorite Thai restaurant. The other ones that we go to are really good. But, this place is even better.

let me start off by saying i love this place. best, first time experience too. I love the atmosphere as soon as you walk in quite modern in comparison with other thai places, but it still has the traditional feel to it. quite spacious, and very clean!! we ordered beef satay, yellow curry, tom yum kun, and mango sticky rice! all quite the deliciousness! portions are good. staff is very friendly and helpful! it was well worth the drive for me. im going back!

LOVE the tofu pad thai here! The noodles are done perfectly! We came late in the evening but the staff were still super friendly and allowed us to take our time with our meal, we didn't feel rushed or anything. My friend and I were able to catch up while enjoying our food (she got the chicken pad see ew and it was excellent as well). We both also got the crying tiger to go for our SOs and when I tried some of that the next day it was pretty darn good as well. Solid dishes and lovely staff! I wish there was a Thai place as good in WLA.

We live within a block of a number of Thai restaurants, and have tried three (Bhan Baitong, Spice Thai and Thai Corner). We always order the same items for comparison. The Mee Krob was beyond too sweet and gooey and the Crying Tiger was tasteless, dry and tough. The curry was absolutely fabulous! I want curry from here, and Mee Krob and Crying Tiger (melt-in-the-mouth goodness) from Spice Thai on Muirlands. Nice decor, great service (we were the only diners at first, but the place filled fast and the one server was attentive to everyone). They lose a star for the Crying Tiger.

Oh Wow! And yes, I will be coming back. The lunch meal was a great price for an amazing amount of food. The standard wonton soup offering was steaming hot and remained so throughout my meal. The flavor was outstanding with cilantro and pork along with the wontons that were more filling than wrapper. The Pad See Ew was flavorful and also remained hot for my entire meal. How do they do that?? Fried rice was very light steamed rice gently tossed with vegetables and egg; Not too much oil or and moist. Great meal, pleasant atmosphere and a lovely lunch. The service is top notch with just the right amount of attention. I was here for my birthday lunch by myself (kid-free) and just wanted to read my book and enjoy a meal. Well, Happy Birthday to me. That's what they provided.

Good Thai food in an OLD Lake FOrest parking lot. When you walk in, there is a very new age and peaceful vibe with the interior. The food was good. My husband's curry was perfect...(and he's been to Thailand)....you know a curry isnt too bad when it actually coats the bowl and rice and doesn't turn into soup....plus he liked the fact that there was a ton of meat. My Crying Tiger was excellent. A bit fattier than I've had elsewhere, but it was real meat (rather than reprocessed freeze dried stuff) and the taste was yummy. My kids shared Orange chicken and we all fought over an order of beef satay. I brought home some mango sticky rice...this was so-so. The mango was good but the rice was a bit lacking...yeah it was sticky....but I was lefting wanting. Also, pretty please, stop serving soda in cans like every other Thai place....we want refills if we are going to order spicy spicy like we like.

I've only had take-out for supper a few times, but it has always been quite good. The Tom Kha soup has a great taste and generous ingredients. The sate is well prepared (grilled) and the quality of the meat is excellent. It comes with an excellent thick peanut sauce and a big container of sweet cucumber relish. The fried rice is moist and flavorful. Yes, it's for American tastes, but that's no bad thing. Be sure to order your food spiced to your taste. Service is personable and friendly, and the staff remember past customers. That's nice. Another Thai restaurant has recently opened in this neighborhood, and it's quite disappointing by comparison. Things are getting very competitive -- there are now SEVEN Thai restaurants within three minutes' drive of our house! Great to have so many choices...

You have to check this place out. Once a month I made my drive to Aliso Viejo to race RC Cars at the tamiya track. Last saturday my buddies and I were craving Thai food. At first we were thinking of driving to Thai town in LA...since its on the way home. But a few of us were really hungry. Since yelp never fails I decided to yelp thai restaurants in OC. For some reason the name Bhan Baitong caught my eyes. I suggested it to the boys and they say "Lets go!!!" I was right..Yelp did not dissapoint. This is what we have 1. Fried Tofu 4 stars (nice and crispy) 2. Angel WIngs 4 stars (Thai Town worthy!!!) 3. Papaya Salad 5 stars 4. Chicken Basil with fried egg 5 stars (Tasty and juicy chicken with perfect fried egg) I'm salivating as I'm writing this...delicious 5. Crab Fried rice 5 Stars (cooked to perfection) 6. Ton Kha 5 Stars 7. Beef mussamun 5 stars 8. Steamed assorted sea food 5 Stars This is my go to spot when I race RC cars in OC. This place is Thai Town authentic worthy. I will come back in 3 weeks

Ordered online for delivery - simple and easy. Got a follow up phone call to make sure everything was correct. Food arrived in about 20-25 minutes. We had a variety of food, Spring Rolls, Egg Rolls, Chow Mein, Cashew Chicken, Fried Rice. Everyone loved the food, including the kids! Will definitely try other dishes in the future.

Hidden gem! This place is awesome. The lunch special is only $6.95 and there are many options. I asked the waitress if they had my favorite dish (Massaman curry) on the lunch special, which they didn't, but she had it made for me anyway! The serving was a good size (see my picture), more than any other Thai lunch special I've seen. Must try this place!

I love the Pad Thai here... Talk about the flavor and portions at the same time, this place have the best serving portionwise. The spicy thai fried rice is to die for too. I will definitely recommend this place for people who love pad thai.

Was greeted promptly when entered the restaurant, which I love. The server was very friendly. Ordered chicken pad thai and Thai boat noodle. Portion sizes were filling. Authentic tasting and presentation was yummy. Had Thai shaved ice for dessert...very refreshing to cool down the palate :)

I live really far away (Rowland Heights), but my work place in near south coast plaza, so i decide to search and find Thai restaurants in the area and found this place. Don't let the outside fool you, the interior of the restaurant is very simple and clean, very modern design, the best of all is the food, i start off with Fish Cake as an appetizers and my main dish is Three Flavor Fish, very crispy and has all 3 flavor that i didn't taste for a very long time, even though i can't really eat spicy food, but this dish was exceptional, i'm very impressed with the owner of the place, very friendly and kind. Basically the Food is Superb, Fantastic Service, Very Clean. If you're looking for a Thai cuisine in your area with a very good price, this is the place you can't miss it, it's going to be your Favorite new Thai spot! Looking forward to bring my family and friends there! Thanks Bhan Baitong!!!

I have eaten Thai in several countries, including Thailand, and this place has to rate in the bottom 10%. They loaded every dish, including the tom yum soup with horribly large chunks of chicken and mushroom. Nothing else. After a few bites, all the 4 dishes we ordered began to feel lame. Even though we asked for medium+ spicy on 2 out of 4 dishes we ordered, all dishes came in mild at best. Not going back to this place ever.

  • Josie Y.

New place in town and decided to give'em a try. I am a fan of thai food so I was looking forward to our dinner. I ordered the pad see ew and also sampled the yellow curry. Both dishes were very good especially the curry. I didn't care for the thai iced tea as I guess I'm used to them being more sweet and this one was not sweet at all , to my tasting at least. The ambiance was nice and their prices are decent.

    (4)
  • Ramai M.

Good food, friendly service. They gave us all a free thai iced tea for checking in on yelp. I'd go here again if I was in the area. Decor could be nicer I suppose, but I'm more interested in the food!

  • Stephanie H.

My husband and I had the Mussamun curry and the Prik Paow with Tom Yum soup to start. Everything was really good. The service was super friendly and the food came out pretty fast. I'm giving four stars instead of five because I felt like their version of "spicy" vs "very spicy" didn't quite match. We ordered both spicy and very spicy. My spicy was pretty mild and my husbands very spicy was only spicy. They do offer two different types of chilies and chili paste to help take the heat up. That being said, I totally recommend Bhan Baitong to all the yelpers out there!!

I was excited to try this place but after a long day (and starving), I walked in an used the restroom before ordering (thank GOD). The walls in the hallway and bathroom were disgusting and soiled. Imagine what the kitchen looks like. The menus had food stuck to them too, so we walked out - didn't want to get a case of food poisoning.

I came for lunch and the restaurant was pack. I was sitted immediately by the bar. The lady which I believed might be the manager took my order right away. After 15 minutes my water came then 20 minutes later my soup came. I've been waiting for my food patiently for about 30 mins. then I saw the other tables ordered got served first before me. I was sitted first before them and ordered my food 15 minutes earlier than them. So I flag the young waitress and told her to please follow up my order because I was hungry and I'm have to be somewhere. I told here I've been waiting for 30 minutes already. Her response was, I'll will check into it and do you want it to go instead? I said no, I want to eat here right now while it's hot and fresh. The purpose of customer going to the restaurant is because they want to eat and sit down. After 40 minutes later, the food was still not ready. I got up and told the manager that I'm leaving and I'm cancelling my order. All she said was sorry and immediately run to the kitchen and told the cook to cancel the order in her language and that was that! Very poor service during rush lunch hour. They seem to not have enough cooks for the number of customers they have during lunch time. It was already bad that I waited 40 minutes and still my order was not ready so I left but it was more worst the way the manager handled the situation. Not a good impression and good customer service!

Details.. .. Lunch for 2 on a Saturday. .. We ordered: the poh tak soup, a beef pad see ew, a chicken pad thai, a thai iced coffee, & a thai iced tea. prOs.. .. The food was mostly delicious & the service was good. cOns.. .. The poh tak soup was disappointing. Good amount of seafood, but no spice at all. .. They didn't ask if we wanted our food spicy, but they did provide us with a nice tray of 4 different spicy add-ins for us to adjust our own spice level.

Bhan Baitong is great! I get lunch there a couple of times a month, and service is prompt and food is consistent every time, whether it's take out or eating in. I love their curry and their Thai iced tea is great.

I came to Bhan Baitong in a large group of coworkers. The server taking our orders was extremely patient while our large group debated over food choices. The service was great and the prices were more than reasonable for the lunch special. I would definitely go here again.

We were hungry and caught in what seemed to be the middle of nowhere (aka the border zone between Laguna Hills and Lake Forest). Business plazas and cement-cold buildings were abound so we had to utilize our handy dandy Yelp app to see what was about. It was a chilly night so we started craving Thai food. Lo and behold, Bhan Baitong was on the map as being nearby and still open (it was nearing 8pm). We made our windy way there to a fairly empty restaurant that was somewhat chic inside and looked a bit new. Aside from the decor that waffled between being traditional Thai and modern home, the smells coming from dishes brought out from the kitchen were intriguing. There were two other tables that night that had guests, one of which had ordered a sizzling plate of something. As we perused the menu, I just had to order the Thai Iced Tea ($2.50) because, well, that's what I do in Thai restaurants. It came out in a familiar tall glass (I have one just like it at home...really, the same exact one) with plenty of tea in it instead of a slurry of cream and sugar. I liked it, and it would come in handy later for the spicy foods. The crushed ice also gave a better texture to the drink. We were not terribly hungry but certainly needed helpings to keep us warm. Unlike other Thai restaurants that I had seen, there was a section for noodle soups. How perfect! I crave noodle soups in times like these so happily I opted for the Tom Yum Noodles ($7.95 - rice noodles, lemongrass, lime juice, mushroom, green onion, choice of chicken, beef, pork, tofu, or vegetables). Duke D. is much more a fan of curries than soups for the most part when wanting something warm and comforting so he chose the Mussamun Curry ($7.95/$8.95/$9.95 depending on meat - simmered with onions, potatoes, carrots, and peanuts in special Massaman curry) after he briefly hovered over the Pineapple Curry option. The bowl of Tom Yum noodles was a fair size when it came out and chock-full of mushrooms. Delish! The lemongrass chunks were, unfortunately, a bit intrusive to the dish since there were so many large pieces (you can't really chew/eat them as they are mainly for flavoring at those sizes) floating about but I managed to get through the meal soon enough. I enjoyed the tangy but spicy kick in my soup and the choice of rice noodles to accompany it. The curry was a tad weak in flavor and not all of the vegetables were tender as was wont in the curry. However, overall, the experience was pretty good for a Thai place out in Lake Forest. I might have to order out in the future when cravings hit for Thai food since I work just a few miles down the road!

Definitely tasty Thai food. Spicy eggplant and chicken, pad Thai and green curry were the choices for this visit. Spicy but not over powering, flavorful but not overwhelming, very reasonably priced and the service was good. Th space is very comfortable, not crowded and casual but not a hole in h wall by any means. Would return, the food is worth it!

  • Brett A.

Went again. Service was excellent the second time as well. Ordered the spring rolls, pretty standard - should have gone with the Papaya salad but wanted to try something else. Ordered the Tom Yum soup...and it was the most plain Tom Yum I've ever had - total bummer! Thai Bite in Aliso has Tom Yum that is awesome. The Bhan Baitong crew should take a field trip over there, order a bunch of it, reverse engineer, and deliver!! Soups were the same price in both restaurants. Night and day difference. Had the Pad Kee Mow - think some people call them drunken noodles, and these were pretty good, better than the Pad See Ew here for sure. Two star food this time. But the groupon was still on, so got a good deal, and covered beer which is a nice plus. I had some extra dinero to use up the groupon so the server brought out some more Thai Ice Tea...was pretty fantastic to open the fridge the next day to find that.

  • I S.

I went here with a groupon. I loved it and recommend it highly. The food reminds me of good home cooking. It's not fancy but it's definitely a place I tell friends to try. I give it 4 stars. It's a good hidden gem: it's located in an odd strip mall and the interior design is strange. The staff is very friendly and I really liked the food. This would be a casual go-to for me if I lived closer.

A gem in an area devoid of good ethnic food. I usually have to drive up north for decent Thai food but this place is good. More than enough to satisfy my hunger for Thai food.

First time here for a quick lunch! The pumpkin curry with chicken and rice was great! I would definitely come back for that! The service is very nice! I would give a 5 stars if the dish include free rice with it! the rice was an extra $1.50 otherwise you would just eat the soup by itself. Other than that it was good! I'll try pad see ew next!

Tried using the group on for this business today at lunch. Like EVERY asian restaurant, there are permanent lunch specials (which makes them not a special by definition). We ordered two meals from lunch special that included small soup, salad and rice in addition to the entry. Much to our surprise, we were told they will not accept Groupon for lunch special because they consider it as combining the Groupon with other promotion. How would this be combining with "other promotions and specials" when its a part of the printed and laminated standard menu. I'm sure you've been to and seen similar menus in asian restaurants. We asked them to, then charge us for the individual items that we ordered rather than as lunch. We were simply expecting the fee for two entries and not be charged for small sides as full size al a cart item. The lunch was ~$17, where the Groupon should have covered it but as individual items, it totaled to over $33. We simply paid without using Groupon and will not recommend or go back to the establishment. We don't like business that treat customers the way Bhan Baitong does. Most restaurants would simply accept it or adjust it so that there are no ill feeling by the customers. In fact, most asian restaurants would normally throw in the soup and or whatever that comes with the lunch special if regular item is ordered off the menu. As for the food itself, the noodle dish tasted very good but cannot recommend Thai BBQ chicken. The chicken was very dry and not seasoned very well. Thai BBQ Chicken is one of my favorite dish and I have ordered in just about every Thai restaurant I've been to over the years and this particular one is the worst I've had. Stay away from Thai BBQ Chicken. Unfortunately, we are very disappointed in their business practice and will not be going back nor recommending the place to anyone.

Great food, friendly staff and nice ambience. If you are looking for some authentic thai food in the Irvine or Lake Forest area, this is definitely a must-try. The prices are pretty reasonable and the waiters are nice enough to accommodate specific requests. I would definitely go back.

Tried out the green curry and spicey rice with tofu mild and both dishes were good. Nice serving size and prices. We were a little outside the delivery radius by a half mile and they accommodated. Will reorder and or dine at their restaurant.

I found this place thru spreebird when they had the deal. So I bought the deal and we've been coming here since then. It's a new Thai place in lake forest so it's pretty clean. I would recommend this place to yelpers. The only thing I notice is they serve smaller sizes compare to Thai restaurant Diho-Siam.

We have been here a couple times and each time we have tried something different. The food is excellent and you get a good amount for the price. Servers are very friendly and the atmosphere is better than one would expect for a place in a strip mall. Cozy and nice, but not fancy.

What a great find! We tried some other Thai restaurants in the area and were underwhelmed. This place has great decor and easily sat our large party with 3 kids. We ordered: Papaya salad- spicy but yum Chicken panag curry- yum Beef pad see ew- yum BBQ pork fried rice- good, not exciting Mango sticky rice- great with creamy mango, but as usual, pricey for what it is All the food was good overall and we were very pleased. We liked that it tasted fresh and clean, unlike most Asian food. The service was good too but the restaurant wasn't very packed either. Prices were just as good as lower quality Thai places so I recommend just trying out this place at least once instead of your usual Thai place. We'll definitely return or use their delivery service soon.

Wow this place is amazing. Simple design, but don't let it fool you. Very delicious and it comes out fairly quick. Got the orang chicken, yellow curry, and the house tom yum! Try out out, you won't regret it! Favorite new Thai spot!

The atmosphere was delightful. We ordered Satay Chicken, Tom Yum Noodle Soup, Tofu Pat See Ew, and the crushed ice dessert. The satay chicken was pretty good and the sauce was yummy. The soup was good too, not too sour. The pat see ew was good as well. The only thing that made this review 3 stars is the crushed ice dessert. On the top of the paper it displayed "Thai Shaved Ice Dessert" but on the bottom in fine print it said "crushed ice". We did not realize this until we took our first bite and bit into chunks of ice. I do not recommend the ice dessert.

  • Jasmine Y.

First time here. Wasn't too bad I would say. I'm used to eating a lot spicier thai food and need to get the mild but here I would recommend you ask for it to be medium or more. They did not ask us how spicy we wanted it so be sure to request it if you want a small kick for your food. Most of the food wasn't bad aside from that. Pretty good, a little on the sweeter side. As for their service they are very polite, but not very helpful or consistent. In the hour we were here we got our water refilled only once. They do not stop by to check up on you at all after the food is served. Overall this place was not bad and the prices were not bad. But not my favorite and nothing too impressive.

My husband and I came for our weekly date night. We had bought a Groupon for $25. It was a great deal! We each had a glass of wine which was decently priced. We were both pleasantly surprised that they even carried Pinot Noir and a good one too! Here's the breakdown of what we thought of everything. SERVICE: Excellent! Very friendly and attentive, but does not intrude in your space so you can enjoy your dinner. Part of the service they have is delivery, which is rare these days for Asian food. They are very up to date with the times by providing easy, convenient online ordering! They seemed to have a lot of phone/online orders because we kept seeing the driver leave and come back the whole time we were there. Wise choice of the owner to including this awesome service!! CLEANLINESS/ATMOSPHERE: Very clean, not too small, casual but not like a Thai Spice (the chain restaurant), has T.V. FOOD: Was EXCELLENT!! I am a Thai food connoisseur? Being Asian and a cook, I am very particular about food in general. Everything we ordered was. Cooked perfectly, well-balanced in the seasonings, decent portion (not too much or little). The only negative I would say is, they don't give you enough meat, hence only 4 stars. However, most Asian places are like that. I don't know if it's to cut cost or that is how they like it because old school Asians usually eat less meat and more veggies because that was all they could afford. I get it. We grew up the same way. They had specials too and have a great menu selection. ORDERED: Prik Paow (Phad Kee Mao)with chicken, Spicy Eggplant with chicken, Shrimp Prik Khing, green tea ice cream. Our favorite was the Prik Paow. We would definitley come back here if we're in the neighborhood!

We really like this Thai restaurant. It's clean, easy parking, good service and good food. We've been there several times and tried different items on the menu, Pad Thai, Basil Leave Combo w/Fried Egg, and even the desert, Ro-Te. They all taste good!

WOW! I'm very impressed. I'm very picky about my Thai food, and I was very pleasantly surprised by this new restaurant Bhan Baitong. The panang might be the best I have ever had, and the tom yum ka (hot and sour soup) fantastic! The prices are very reasonable. The service is excellent and I like the atmosphere and decor. Overall great first impression and I'm looking forward to going back.

First time here, ordered TAKEOUT, so I don't know what sit down service is like, but the girl at the reg. was very nice. Portions were good n normal! Just from walking in, it looked clean and inviting. My order/Rating: Chicken Pad Thai (ordered with no egg) / *** Kinda bland at first, but it built up a little. What flavor it did have was nice, fresh, n mild tasting. Not sweet, which is great! Tangy noodles, mild nutty flavor, kinda had to hunt for chicken though. :/ Pineapple Curry / **** (I ordered mine without tomatoes & it came with no tomatoes! :) ) Amazing flavor! I've never had a red curry before, so I dunno if it's how it's "supposed" to taste, but I don't care. It tastes good. I ordered it mild and it still had a kick, but not overwhelming. First you taste the coconut, then u get all the complexities. Yum yum yum. Only reason I didn't give it 5 *, because they charge separately for rice. Overall, 4 Stars. I will defintely be back!!

We ordered our lunch to be delivered to Pauls Tv and they were quick to deliver the food. The service was great over the phone and great for the delivery. The food was delicious and the Thai Tea was perfect. I will be going back for more great food!!!! Thank you for the best service

This place has probably the best Thai food I've ever had. Great flavors and great service. This will now be my go to spot for Thai! Recommended for sure.

Found the soup I crave: Tom Kha! Tastes like a perfect floral bouquet of coconut milk, lime, and lemon grass flavorings with the veggies and meat mixed in. Heavenly! I have also discovered Green Curry. Never thought anything could beat yellow curry, but Green has! So flavorful, but no additional heat. It's my new favorite.

Found a Groupon so me and my girlfriend stopped by here at lunch. The place is hidden in a strip mall but it was surprisingly nice inside and the food was amazing. Ordered curry and crying tiger beef and we were both impressed. Would definitely return for our next craving.

The food was amazing!!! I would give five stars but they poor less than half a glass for your wine...it was very strange.

I have eaten at many Thai restaurants, but wow, Bhan Baitong is definitely my favorite. The service is awesome! The servers were very friendly! I eat here every weekend. I recommend the Pad See Ew, the Pumpkin Curry, and the Charbroiled Chicken. It's definitely worth it to give this place a try.

I placed an order this evening but received a call from the restaurant about 15 minutes later explaining that they could not offer delivery. They were very rude. The least they could have done was call immediately so I could order from another restaurant before closing. I will not be back.

Such a hidden gem, the restaurant located in a not so busy plaza, mainly for launch business. therefore if you go for dinner, might got spectacle. Don't get fool, they actually got the best curry i have tried in the area. Also, it's launch menu is very reasonable priced. highly recommended.

Thai food here is as authentic as it can be for Lake Forest. If it wasn't for the Groupon, I would never have known that this place existed. It's tucked away in a non-descript shopping center with very little signage. They do try to bring a large selection of "Authentic" Thai dishes, but their flavors are lacking. They are a bit on the sweet side. Their wait staff is very friendly and are very open to substitutions or swap outs of veggies. Overall, I want them to do well. I may come by and try them for lunch sometime.

BUYER BEWARE-- they don't honor Groupon for lunch because it's already a lunch "special" LOL. Also, they use MSG!

How can you open a thai place and not make good curry. It is extremely bland. No matter what curry I get, bland city. Glad i used a groupon. The pad thai is very tasty which is why I don't understand for the lack of flavor in their curries.

We went to Bhan Baitong for the fist time tonite Sat.The restaurant was busy we arrived at 8:45, they close at 9:30 but we were never rushed. The staff was very polite took our order and brought our drinks. We had to wait a while for our food but it was worth every minute. It is obvious our dinner was cooked to order and it was the best Thai food we've ever had. I cant wait to go back, dont be fooled by the location, Thanks for a great dining experience, we took paper menus for our friends.

great little hidden spot in a mini mall that i found via groupon. its become quite crowded due to their over 1,000 groupons sold. the food is really good. not 100% authentic, but really tasty still. we had the salmon in curry and the green papaya salad. both come quite spicy, so if you like medium, i would suggest a 3-4, that way you can add more spice if needed. ambiance is nice for the space, and service was always prompt. try it!

I've been here twice now and this place hasn't let me down. The first time i went i had the tom yum soup, cozy shrimp, papaya salad, and seafood pad thai, all four dishes were delicious! My most recent visit i had thai fried rice, pad see eww, and i had to have the seafood paid thai again cause it was soooo delicious the first time around and once agian they did not disappoint. I cant wait to try all the other things they have on their menu. I've always been by during dinner but i think i'm going to swing by for lunch cause they have really cheap lunch specials.

Two of us were there recently for dinner. This place is way, way over rated. The papaya salad was a disaster, limp and discolored papaya and way too spicy more like an 8 than a 5 ( we specified spicy, not very spicy.) The Bbq chicken was even worse, dried out and pretty much tasteless. I got the green curry, spicy, and this was pretty good, a bit on the sweet side, not too spicy like the salad, large enough portion. When my wife complained about the chicken they gave her a complementary crying tiger salad which was good, tender beef and ok veggies and dressing, nothing outstanding. The place is new so the setting is nice and clean, wait staff is new, our waiter was on his 2nd day working there. I'm a senior Asian guy who has eaten Thai for decades, including places in Thailand. This place is a definite Meh. For great bbq chicken try that Thai bbq place in Vegas on 3rd St. in the downtown area, other stuff there is very good also. In Lake Forest I still like Spice Thai.

I have been here twice with the Groupon deals. Foods are terrific and services are excellent. Portions are just right. Regular prices are reasonable too. Great ambiance and clean. This is the place I wouldn't mind coming back regularly even without Groupon.

Went here for dinner with my family tonight - 2 adults and 2 teenagers. I am a little confused bec. the reviews said that the portions were good, but not in my experience. No leftovers, for one, and I was still hungry after eating my meal. So instead of dessert, or just leaving we ordered an appetizer of spring roll to finish off. Hmmm. Not that impressed. Usually dinner has bigger portions that the lunch menu that other reviews raved about. So for portions, a bit on the smallish side, for flavor - ok, but not great. Had Tom Yum soup elsewhere that was much more flavorful. Same with the pad thai. So we'll leave it at that. Sorry,

Ever since I had HOR MOK ( seafood cooked in a coconut milk wrapped in banana leaves)in Thailand, I have been craving for it but haven't found any Thai restaurant that serves this authentic delicacy. Finally I searched website for Hor Mok and came across Bhan Baitong Rest , a new restaurant in Lake Forest . Voila! They serve this delicious dish which is super good, I just love, love it. If you like gourmet cuisine , this is a must try. it's a 10 star dish. Their lunch special is a very good deal and good portion. What a great find. The interior is clean and very nice ambiance that makes dining in comfort. Service is very good , Jane is very pleasant and makes all effort to acommodate customers request. She handed us a coupon that offers free Pad Thai dish with a $20 order on our next visit which is their opening promo for the month of July. We used to drive to Thai Town in Hollywood but no more . We're captive customers of Bhan Baitong now. Give this Thai place a try and enjoy and don't forget to order deelucious HOR MOK. If you like stuff like Uni, Foie Gras , and other unique fine food, you'll like this as well.

I don't give rave reviews unless they're deserved, check my other ones. I really liked this place. We went today for an early dinner around 5:p.m. The place was immaculately clean and bright and nice inside. The food vas very good. We did have to add chile spice to the food and I don't remember being asked if we wanted it mild or spicy, but that aside, everything was really very good. We had vegetable garlic something soup, it came in a pot with a fire going in the middle, more than enough for two. We had angel wings for appetizer, I never had them before, and they were crispy and good. Green curry chicken with eggplant, I loved the coconut green curry, We kind of over did it for two people, we also had beef entree, I forget which one, the beef was superb and high quality. We got one order of white and one order of brown rice. Endless lemonade and amazingly friendly and attentive service. The cook even came out and asked how we were doing. The people working there are happy and seemed rightly proud of the service they're providing. I hope you go there, I know I will again. Thanks for reading. By the way, we did spend 40$ before tip, but we could have gotten way less food and have been happy. Everything cost about 8 or 9 that we got, drinks were 2$ and rice was 2$. I thought it was very reasonable for what you get

What a great find! Tucked in a strip mall near a business complex in Lake Forest, I only came across this place because I was staying at the Best Western across the street. The seafood volcano was amazing! They don't skimp on the seafood, huge chunks of fish, calamari, shrimp and mussels mixed in with a scrumptious red curry. I got it in medium and it was a perfect amount of spicy for me. There are also 4 different spice/sauces that you can add yourself to get just the flavor you want. And you get a free Thai iced tea as a Yelp check-in offer, love those!

Simply delicious! Yellow chicken curry- just the right balance of sweet coconut and spicy Thai. Spicy beef eggplant-omg! If I wasn't full I would order another. Avocado cream cheese wonton. Average. The only thing I wouldn't order again. It was really good but had to much fried and not enough won ton. (Stuffing) Thai tea- superb Chang beer- cold and delicious compliment

Ordered for delivery and I will give 4 stars for the driver finding our place (every delivery service can't seem to find our door). The food was ok. Maybe I am spoiled when it comes to pad Thai- Thai Bite is my fav hands down. But my hubby was not impressed with the sweet and sour pork- it was mainly vegetables and pineapple with a handful of pork pieces. The one thing that was super strange was that the delivery guy didn't know what change to give back. Bill was $25 and I gave him $40- then he proceeded to ask me what the change was. They may need to re-train so that they don't lose out on money mishandling at delivery.

Came here with my fiancée and some friends for dinner because Pinoy Pam's was already closing. Immediately loved the fact that they have a free Thai iced tea with check-in deal. Total score! We ordered/shared the beef pad thai with some spring rolls. I can say without a doubt that the flavor and overall composition surpassed the Thai places closer to where we live in AV. Service was attentive but not overbearing. We also finished our meal past the closing time but never once felt pressured to hurry up and leave. I recommend this place to anyone who enjoys Thai food and to those who want to try it out for the first time. You won't be disappointed!

Okay, I've eaten here before and the food was decent. I'm giving this place 1 star because I ordered online, they required the credit card even though I wanted to pay cash and selected the cash option. They then send back to me a confirmation, WITH MY CREDIT CARD NUMBER UNENCRYPTED, and all my personal information, AND IT WAS CC'd to another random hotmail address. I expect to have some fraud now. Even if I don't, this is unacceptable handling of information. I will not be eating here again.
